Got a speeding ticket coming off that old bridge a few years back, T Y south Texas. I have had a number of big block cars over the years and all were fire breathing beast. Loved it!! But take one on a long trip and they will ware you out and bet you up. So that is one reason that I went with a CSX 8000 car with a nice HI PRO 289 running 2 /4 br. carbs tied to a 4 speed, just like the one I saw in 65 rolling along in the Hill Country, near Johnson City....
