NO, NO, NO, did I hear no?

what the thread starter has described is not a Tomahawk not even close

the Tomahawk is as another stated on a NISSAN , not datsun chassis.
and they are newer much newer. they do not have a Cobra classic lines body. they share some features of the kellison/westcoast body

the designer of the Tomahawk was a co-designer for the Kellison stallion and worked for Jim kellison. he is an award winning fiberglass body automotive designer and should not be lumped into the category this datsun wanna be kit is.

ok i'm fine now, it just gets me when i read stuff like this, its how some manufacturers get bad raps when misinformation is taken as truth just because it gets typed into a forum.

This thing sounded like an E-M chassis and body using a 280Z engine, trans, and maybe some other pieces. It may not have been a bad car, but even finding engine/trans parts for the old Z cars is getting a little hard.

I have never driven or seen in person. The picks are ok...but cannot really see.

I think he is delusional on his price. I mean it is 1977 old frame/suspension, etc. Just putting perfume on a pig...doesnt change the pig.

Yeah...I bailed. Someone else will overpay and be stuck. My money is too hard earned to throw it away!

thanks guys!

It always amazes me what someone will come up with next. Esspecially with all the different kits and parts that are out there. That being said the 280z never had a frame. I would like to see how this was done. I had a datsun 1600 years ago with a solid frame under it. That could be an option if hard up for a frame, but still why ?

Default This is a Tomahawk

Here are some pics of the Tomahawk that I've been building. It's built on a 1973 Datsun 240Z chassis. The chassis needed to be reinforced with a fabricated subframe, etc. Power is from a Ford 5.0 mated to a T5. It has fully adjustable coilover suspension and sports 18x11 front and 18x12 rear wheels.
