Insulation matting should cost you about $150 for the materials, and maybe 4 hours to install. I'd take that to an upholstery shop for installation........

Of course 302, trying to do too many things at once!

Thanks for the feedback. Prices seemed a bit high but I haven't paid for garage work in awhile. I thought that maybe they'd be worth a premium if they are reliable and good at what they do (versus a local shop that works on anything).

I believe they priced things as high as they did because they really do not want to work on your car. Either that or they see you as a rube. Either way you need to find another shop. My advice, fill in your location in your profile then start a new thread asking for suggestions on other shops from the members who live or work in your area.

I agree with Bill (Mr. Mustang). I'd look for a well regarded general purpose shop to do the tune up, find and fix the intake leak, and fix the differential leak. If you like their work, ask them for an estimate on the other jobs (e.g., brake and fuel lines, tank vent and filter). The wiring and Dynomat jobs are not rocket science, but they can take some man hours. If you've got more money than time, those are good jobs for a competent hotrod shop. If you've got more time than money, you might be able to get enough good advice here to do those jobs yourself.
