Now this really is something special. One of only 30 made by B.R.A. and designed by Gerry Hawkridge (Hawk Cars), this car dates from the time B.R.A (Beribo Replica Automobiles) was owned by John Berry and Peter Ibbotson, but unlike some other BRA Cobras we’ve seen, this one was built to take a Chevrolet 5.1 litre, 350bhp block ! Every detail on this car was designed to produce an exceptional Replica and it certainly wasn’t built with a budget in mind. For example – over 400 hours were spent preparing, fitting and finishing the body, the interior is Connolly leather and most of the running gear is Jaguar derived. Doug Nash 5 speed gearbox, Smiths Instruments, side exhausts in heavy grade stainless steel etc, etc, etc. It’s an incredible car to drive, and certainly not for the faint-hearted!
