S&B Oval Filter Tall
Does anyone know that part number on this? How it stacks against the regular K&N filter? And whether it is worth the money?

I'm running on mine. It's 2 1/4" tall, rather than the 1 3/4" of the K&N. Quality seems good (as good as K&N). With the top filter in place I made 6 RWHP more than no air cleaner at all. I attribute that to the air filters straightening out air flows before they enter the carbs.

I gave you the same answer when you started a similar thread back in January.

"It's a S&B filter, 2.25" tall, 20 5/8" X 9 ¾" OD. part# W-2250-01. Jegs sells them for $59.95."

Tony Branda sells the S&B 2 1/4 they call it a A7 ?.

K&N will also make this filter to a custom height. I had two made 3" high for a very reasonable price.

K+N also has a stock one at 3" part # e-1963. The 1.813 inch one is part # e-1060.
Thanks for the S&B part number! their website was not working for me.

I went with the S&B and got it from Tony Branda and the cleaner & oil from S&B directly. |
