I used to be a regular on Corvette Forum, so I know that a fellow by the name of JohnZ is the most knowledgeable person there. In one thread, he says the molds used to produce the XC-53 were owned and used by at least eight different companies over a period of about 15 years. So, getting the name of the maker of your friend's particular car could be a very difficult task. Why does he need the information?

Thanks for the info Tommy. His main concern is finding some parts for it like the windshield frame and glass. He found a few places that sells them for $3,999.00. That may be okay for a person restoring an original 53 Corvette but he's hoping theres another replica manufacturer out there that can steer him in the right direction for parts at a little lower price.
