Well I posted elsewhere about the technology hidden from the world. Tech that is used to "drill" these enormous underground facilities. Not drills at all just equipment that melts the rock clean.

There is so much talk about area 51, the good stuff is suppose to be housed in the nearby papoose mountains. All the U2/A12/Blackbirds were flown here. Many of the UFO sightings are because of these flights. However I have heard some tall tales from very experieced fighter pilots over the last 25 years.

I left the USN in 1988 and the tech then was light years from what you think.

I can tell you this the latest generation of of experimental craft is flown at night and are not located in any type of hangar you can visualize. These are flown out of huge underground facilities and the runways open up like a zipper and close like one. Hidden from satelites completely and camouflaged to blend. That's about all I can say.

Great tool for killing people and breaking a lot of ****....great gig....

Now heading to Afghanistan all year to kill them with some other new and interesting "tools"....

Yeah water I've found to be very thrilling at speeds with the friction between water and air. I'm not familiar with that route...going to look it up. My brother(grandfather's place) has an estate on Lake Tahoe and use to fool around racing Bill Harrah years ago there. I am younger and into cars and he was always into the yachts and speedboats.

I remember going what I think was over 100mph on a snowmobile on a smooth frozen lake.

Oh yeah!... sad to say, 140-150 in the Cobra has become rather mundane... unlike the '98 Allison XB2003 w/2.5 Drag 300... driving a 110+mph pad boat has been one of the greatest adrenalin rushes in my life. I still get out on the Fox River occasionally on my buddy's 24' Skater w/twin 2.5 offshores, but even that lacks the thrill of balancing a pad hull at speed...

For those that like the water (and I agree, it feels twice as fast), here is pretty fast.
