That is a thing of beauty! Yes, AC bodies were hand wheeled, not, hammered out by a bunch of winos under a bridge! The Italian bodies on the Daytona Coups were hand hammered, thus, no parts would interchange with another Daytona, and Alan Mann's team were constantly chasing cracks. Not that the AC bodies were perfect, they were just better!

Thank you mr bruce for posting the link. Fascinating to see the casting process for something the size of a Ranalah English Wheel. The video is well done and is part #7 of a series done by Dominic Chinea. I found part #1 with his quest for finding a Ranalah to buy and ultimately reproduce, looks like an interesting series.
