One roll hoop or two?
Looking to buy a cobra and I've always had one roll hoop, the car I'm looking at has two and for some reason it bothers me?
Thoughts? Originality? |
If you have a "significant other" they will feel that you don't care about their safety if they don't have a rollbar.
If you want to track it and have to start from scratch and have an instructor ride with you, they won't do it w/o a roll bar on their side . If you don't have to deal with either of the above, then one is all you need. And they are not just for looks, I have seen a few shiney side down ! Ted ps: I am planning to add one to the pass side or go with one full width for both reasons stated above. |

I would if it had 2 separate bars. I wouldn't if it had one huge one that went from the drivers side to the passenger side.

Mine is set up mostly for track so I went with a full width bar and high back seats. Also did a tilt front so access to the engine compartment and front suspension is much better. Murphy's Law dictates that if you're involved in an accident and you have one roll bar, it will be a roll-over. If you have two roll bars, you'll get rear-ended and both get concussions from smacking the roll bars.
