Default Exhaust noise

I hear a different tone between both exhausts. Is that normal?

Apparently it is. Mine has always sounded different between one side and the other. I'v changed heads, cams, ignitions, headers, pipes, and swapped throttle bodies side to side. Still sounds different. On my car, the left definitely sound smoother than the right. I just chalk it up to firing order.

Keep the "Hammer Down" both sides will always sound the same if you could hear them.

Damn glad this issue was raised. I've had the same experience with my previous Roush 427 and my current Keith Craft 482. All is right once again in my "Cobra World"!!!!!!

Stop and think about it guys. No two cylinders are created equal. No two mufflers are created equal. No two headers are exactly the same. On OEM dual exhaust they are tied together. They do that for more than one reason, but One of those reasons is to balance the exhaust sound and pulses.

With individual exhaust you will never get them to sound exactly the same. You might get them close enough that you wont hear it. Make the exhaust a little louder....then you wont notice it as much....lol.

I have never considered it "Noise"....always thought of it as a sweet melody! Flow and resistance dictates sound and they will always be slightly different.
