With all due respect... I think its therapeutic.
...At least to those same protagonists that continually post spouting the same message.

For mine - There are "facts" and there are "beliefs".

"Facts" can create a "belief" (eg: Evan & the SAAC Registry, or religions).

BUT

Equally "beliefs" can also create a "fact" (eg: Cobras are cobras cos they look like cobras, and everyone(else except for Evan's crew) calls "cobras", or again religions).

No fact can ever change one's belief.
There are many thesis and philosophical discussion done on this stuff... It's akin to "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter".

PS: Moderators can now close this thread 'cos of politics and NOW Religion...

This is a brilliant analogy.

Evan does certainly "cling" to his copy of "the authoritative book", when it serves him. Just like folks do with all sorts of other books.

Not surprising that a leading memeber of the CC peanut gallery concludes Dimis' "analogy" to be a paradigm of anologies when it is not even an analogy. Classic CC peanut gallery.

Yes, I do tend to cling to my books (I found you can learn stuff wtih them) and here it's the Registry since it serves me very often in helping remove the "poop" you guys constantly leave behind.

There was another group circa 1932 to 1945 in Europe that didn't care for books either when they interferred with and contradicted their views. In fact they had a big night out toasting marshmallows and stuff with books they burned in a big big bonfire. Hey, thats it! Maybe you guys could have a CC peanut gallery "Registry" burning party and toast "weenies and marshmallows" and stuff. However, there is one Registry you will never get.
