Come on guys. I know there are alot more guys with exceptional cars here. It would be nice to have a thread here with alot pics of these cars if nothing else as a resource for not only members here but those visiting.

Evan,

I wanted to nit-pick some fault in your car. But it's absolutely beautiful.

Great stance, deep dark paint, love the billboards, spotless engine bay with a side oiler, and an undercarriage that you could eat off of.

Very nice

Well...okay. KMP 184 was the first of the BNLs (Bare Naked Ladies)...yup, my fault they started getting sold with brushed and polished finishes. One other customer car had been done this way, but was never really promoted by Da Boys. I did it after seeing Tom Jr's own bare car (a bit rougher finish) when a bunch of us went to KISS (Kirkham Int'l Sh!tstarters Summit) in early 2002 (Computerworks, Turk, Pat, U2, the Semkos and others).

Pic courtesy of Brent Mills...

Joe Boghosian built the motor from a 427 Shelby arruminum block and put a whole bunch of asspensive go-fast racer stuff inside and atop it...backed by one of David Kee's toploaders. It's lumpy and loud. Running Avons now. Original-type steel suspension bits but with the prototype adjustable stuff that led to the arruminum stuff.

My first metal car...it was a tight fit too.

Bxx1 and mullen2 like this.

Great stuff!

Tuto: Really cool livery/paint scheme. Noticed the track tow hook. Have you tracked the car?

Keep the pics coming.

No one knows the original colors offered by SAI? Can't be.

This is KMP523 with the new stripes that were put on for the Le Mans Classic earlier this month:

It's closing in on 20,000 miles now.

Thanks. I don't know just what Sapphire looks like so I can't say how it compares. I would describe it as close to Guardsman but with a "pop" from the pearl. Guardsman always looks to me like it has no depth. Different lighting conditions cause mine to look lighter or darker also.

Mine is PPG code 5357. Used on Jeeps in the early 2000s.

Here's an interesting website that allows you to search for paint colours and codes by year, make and model:

PaintRef.com - Automotive Truck Fleet Paint Color Code Cross Reference
