I did a HID conversion to mine years ago, using the Lucas headlights. Keith Kraft enterprises sold these back in the day. They REALLY light things up down the road.

The only problem with the setup is a bit of light scatter. I went back to KC about it and was offered no help or restitution. Had I known of the light scatter issue before I probably would not have done it. The theory was great, the application was lacking.

I followed this seller on ebay for a few weeks until I got the lights at his starting price. In the spring it was $89.99. Looks like he's raised the starting price to $99.99. There are other sellers with competitive pricing, but be sure to compare shipping costs.

Really???? I first thought I was being invited to a Snipe hunt - but I guess if they are an English light the low beam would be left oriented. Hmmm. Thanks (I think)

Anyway, this thread did get me off my lazy butt and I ordered Patrick's LED tail light bulbs.

Great! Next step, that beautifully crafted third brake light. Then, the four way flashers mounted in the glove box. Then, separate circuits for the pushers and puller fans. Then....

For now you will have to settle for installing a tattle tale on my vacuum secondaries to verify they opened under acceleration - they do.

Patrick - got my LED lights from Superbriteleds but having difficulty getting them to seat fully in the sockets and rotate into locked position. The bulb portion seems to hang on the top of the socket. Did you have difficulty with yours? I may need to remove the tail light completely so I can apply more force on it.

I did get them to hang up enough to test them and they are much brighter.

None. They literally dropped right in. Here's an up-close pic.
