Gone for just a couple months and already talking about me?
Wrong? Moi? hardly.
Just like Becker says the Continuation cars are no different than any other car in that there are great ones, good ones, bad ones and terrible ones. Same with the original series.
I can't comment on the car in question as I have never seen it and don't know that much about it. However, if the car was completed by HRE it is probably a very nice car. HRE is one of the best.

Nice car! Obviously, I like the color. And hey! That looks like one of mine and Mickmate's air filter setups on it! Well, no wonder the reserve isn't met!

I didn't realize in my first post that it's a SB.
That'll certainly hurt.

And not a top notch one at that. Yep, engine replacement needed. $20,000 +/-. Probably more.

Yup, for me I just see engine and trans replacement to go back to old school.

So in seven years somebody managed to drive it a whopping 102 miles, but wreck it nonetheless?

102 miles in 7 years sounds like a DD by my standards.

I'm guessing that the damage was from when they seized it and threw it on a flatbed or roll truck.

... or when the tow driver popped the hood, started laughing, and let it slip back off the hooks.

I had my car in a shop once and they needed to move it to another shop. I was out of town, so I couldn't supervise how they towed it. But I still have the memorabilia from it!

New auction listing's lead photo looks like a kid is driving a toy pedal car.
Head is above the windshield frame, knee up near the dash, even the hand placement adds to the cramped image.
Upside down image in an auction of a 100K article makes me think that whoever buys it will need to put a wrench on every bolt to make sure it was tightened the right way.
