It can be that I didn't get it. But, you know. After all those posts here I will back up a little bit. Not with my aluminum re-body but I really didn't get any potential information and support here.
427SBF, Bill and only a small portion of members are really trying to look forward with this project but most of you are talking about anything else, like Kirkham badges, MKII aluminum body from Kirkham and trying to figure out personal information. What this has to do with aluminum bodied cars or with my project???
This is NOT very professional as I expected. I can see ENVIOUSNESS, MISLEADING and unwise comments.
All this for a fantastic FFR photo his buddy posted??? Come on.
Is this the idea of this FORUM? Really?

Protecting someone's money, aka consumer protection, is an important part of this or any forum. Fraud is fraud. You cannot use unauthorized pictures to sell your product. And it doesn't matter if "others do it." Wrong is wrong.
Enviousness? Misleading? You "come on."
As for "unwise" comments, I agree, NYG's "Kirkham badge" comment was ridiculous and nonsense, but Jamo cautioned NYG.
MikeinAtlanta has been bending over backwards to help you.

If I can forgive, and I am a customer, why you guys don't get over it and start to enjoy new possibilities like I do. At the end it will be a benefit for all of us.
Think about : Who is taking all advantages? Where else I can buy a "snug fit kit" for my FFR?
I am not buying the owner

I can forgive, but not forget. Others here will do whatever they want to do.
"Who is taking all advantages?" Well, initially, Alloycars by mispresenting that they had 140 customers and using unauthorized pictures to sell their product here. That's who was "taking all advantages."
Personally, I buy the owner and the product. In my case, Kirkham provides excellent customer support, both pre and post sale, and that's why I bought a Kirkham.

I see this site as a family of Cobra builders, owners and enthusiasts that truly want to help each other and further their build and their dreams, whatever they may be.
I also see JAMO as being a pretty even-handed moderator, which is not easy!
Hey, don't get me wrong...there have been plenty of times I could have turned into "Bad Bernica", but I try to refrain in respect to the members that continue to contribute and participate here.
This is a good place to be and I guess all I could offer is let's not pollute it.
OK, I'm done.

I'm new here and not joining in on any of the back and forth. I do suggest you keep an open eye with things and report back your personal experiences. I would also suggest if you want great information read as you have done and contact those members with extensive knowledge through PM's or back channels.
You would be surprised dealing one on one with experts in this field.

Ok, professional.
Go into the garage and take a picture of your car, post it here. Start with a before and a after picture. We will cheer...
