Look in some of the listings for Cobras for sale and you can get a good idea of what your price range will buy you. Most Cobra sites have a Classified section where people list their cars for sale and Cobra Country is a good place to look also. Good luck and I hope that you find what you want soon.

1965 Cobra built from 1965 MGB, MG tub and firewall, custom sub frame with 4 link rear, 383 chevy stroker on motor plate, muncie 4 speed, 9 inch ford rear, new fuel pump in trunk, fuel cell. Needs ignition module to run, yellow with black wheels and straight pipes. Needs paint. Was not wrecked, former owners dog bit it locked in garage. Has mass title as 1965 MGB. Leather seats 5 point belts, former vintage racer, Built very much as originals where but chevy powered. Asking $14000 call ..............

yeah, I'd pass on almost any of the conversion-type Cobras. Asking for trouble.

Unless it's an AC Ace/Bristol with a V8, then I'd grab it with both hands if it was built right.

No way you'd get that for $20k though...
