I own a CR and really like it. I can't really weigh in on all your questions but I will say even though it's a bit longer than all the others, it in not overly roomy. It's comfortable enough but I don't think the extra 6 inches makes that much difference except for the way they handle. I'm sure DV will be able to answer all of your questions. He's the CR guy here
