Great article.
All Hail Ned!:D

Interesting article. I haven't seen any CSX Continuation Cobra owners on the SAAC forum claiming their car is a legitimate 1965 427 SC. Must have missed that.

That's it. If that's all you could take away from that article and you couldn't move fast enough to make a remark like that...enjoy a couple of weeks solitude.

Tired of this BS.

Great article Ned, nice to put a face with the man behind all the work.

Bernica 10-31-2015 12:46 PM

Thought we were going on another hijacked tangent thread with no substance for a minute there!
Picking on Ned? Really?

Jamo 10-31-2015 12:55 PM

I've got one of those salt guns I shoot flies with...thought I'd start using it here.

It's a nice face, but he's not all that cute. :p

I've got one of those too! They are great! Just don't get it wet. How do I know this?

OK, not hijacking. Back to Ned's channel!;)

Just read it. Fabulous article. It's great that folks like Ned are around and involved.

Bernica 10-31-2015 03:26 PM

Just tell me anyone here that would be willing to take this kind of dedication.
Ned is "chopping wood and carrying water" for the rest of us and should be commended for that.

my 2 c as always

Great read.

Awesome article, congrats Ned! (thanks Rick for the interview!)

One thing though, did you tell your dad you were "buying a Ford" with the intent on buying the Cobra? How did he get the idea it was a Mustang?
Thought that part was pretty interesting!;)

Good perspective on how the focus over time has changed from "How fast does it go?" to "How much is it worth?" Buying a Cobra in the early '70s as Ned did was a bit of a risk. $10k was still a lot of money when you could buy a house for $50k And leaded gas with high octane had so disappeared to make us wonder if you would even be able to drive a car like a Cobra ever again. Great story about Ned's dedication to the marque.

Great article.
I contacted Ned years ago about a COX Cobra I was interested in and had questions about its value. He gave me the straight poop. To this day I don't regret passing on it. It was a very nice Cobra but his honesty and knowledge helped me make the right decision.
Thanks, Ned.

Thanks for the nice comments. All along it seemed to me the article was simply intended to fill out the page count for the magazine. And I still think so.
