And transferring a VIN to a Dynacorn body is not legal. A Dynacorn shell can only LEGALLY be registered just like a kit car, as a self build or a replica dependent upon your state regulations. Now we all know that some cars have been "rebodied" with a Dynacorn shell however selling "new" cars using the shell is way out of bounds on legality.

So...here's my $150k...
I can drive it home, right?
I won't have any problems with registration, right?
And this is all legal, right?
Right.

Don't get me wrong...
I like the idea of a nice straight steel bodied Mustang resto-mod with upgraded running gear, etc which is just what they should call it and nothing more.
But the price point is way off, customer base will be low and the complications are pretty big as I see it.
I figure sell them as rollers at the $60k range if they are that good.
That limits them to try to sell turnkeys overseas, and I'm not sure who would take them either.
Not sure who is doing this business plan for them. I guess the guy behind the curtain!

It would be as his name indicates. Because if he owned it, that would be the only reason it would be "Real". He could never own a "replica". The world would emplode into a black hole.

I believe Evan actually acknowledged CSX4206 is a 'replica':
While it is a replica of the original series it is also a Shelby Cobra. The car replicates the original Shelby Cobra as it must to be the same car. New. Old. Both nearly identical from SAI or is successor. See the World Registry. To say it is not a Shelby Cobra because it replicates the original series is in noting the obvious fact of what it is.
See Registry. It's all set forth very clearly.
Post at Why does every thread here devolve into a "Real" vs. "Replica" argument?

Apparently, yes...If Shelby American in Las Vegas builds or 'finishes' it.
You know, just like the "Real" Cobras that come out of SA/LV.
If they come from anyone else like Kirkham, ERA, Superformance, etc. they are replicas. But if Shelby American finishes assembling them and puts their tag on them, they somehow become "Real"...as if they went back in time and produced them.

Phil, the comments directed towards Evan are an attempt at resurrecting a rather unpleasant discussion, once again. It's best for you to find and read the myriad of other topics on this subject and let this sleeping dog lie.
