The rear bumper on the first continuation is way too wide for the car. Maybe it's for a 427 but it looks even wider than that.

I find it unbelievable that they can't get the dash right on the continuation cars. I know it's hard to find the original charge indicator light, although I found a few, but the glove box door is the wrong shape and the knob incorrectly placed, the drop of the lower edge is wrong,....

I have a couple charge lights (NOS in boxes) but I don't feel like selling them yet. Maybe put one on EBAY sometime.

The hard part to reproduce on the SW cars is the speedometer/tachometer. Unique to Cobra, they were prototype's at the time and production units and replacements were different, even back then. That's why modern leaf spring cars don't use correct period gauges. Too expensive to do for a current production car. They can be reproduced but expensive!
My tach is a reproduction. The speedometer is an original.

Wow! I hope you have them under lock and key Larry.

BTW, anybody know the value of the 2-5/8" SW 0-10psi fuel pressure gauges? Not a standard fit on 289 roadsters, but were fitted to some FIA cars.

Actually the 2 5/8" Stewart Waner 0-10 PSI gauges were common place in 289 competition Cobras.

And what about the glovebox knob...it is a very specific looking item and a kitchen
cabinet knob just isn't right. There is a good replica being made in England so why
not use it? I just found the trim parts of a real 60s one for my car...not lockable any
longer but cosmetically perfect. It is one of the items I remember from the Cobra I
owned back in the day and my ERA now resembles the memory a little better for it.

Moss has the glove box lock. I think it requires a little fitting though.

I think all this goes back to cost. The wiring harness and components are nothing like the original but the cost would go way up to make it accurate. Wipers park on the wrong side, wiper motor not correct, gas cap not accurate, switches not correct, glove box door shape, shape of the dash, leather on the dash not shinny enough, gauges not correct, seat sliders wrong style, shifter too tall, turn signals wrong color, ... you could go on and on but it IS a production car and not a home built. To produce a car now, accurate to an original would add tens of thousands per car, if not more. Plus the parts are just not out there in many cases. Not anymore anyway.
