Sure would love to see some videos of our former member actually lapping a race course in traffic in one of his "race cars". Just because you can buy a race car doesn't make you a race driver.
It's sad that some people's identities and egos are defined by what they own. Take away their "status symbols" and they revert back to being the "little fat kid that gets chosen last!"
Interesting that when we all called him out on his misrepresentation of his kit car to the general public he sells it. Once he was forced to accept it as a replica, it was no longer useful in plumping up his ego. Thus, it's gone.
Just thinking out loud. I'm probably wrong.

Not for nothing but I think you just described about 98% of the membership of this board.

I'm curious how you know he doesn't drive his cars on the track or otherwise?

Wow. No wonder Evan always referred to so many as "the sour grapes crowd". Can you people think of any more ways to insult him? You sound like the people I remember from grade school, who maybe WERE chosen first, but are now mowing my lawn.

Maybe Evan will take "Tigger" to the track or he could be just a "waxer."

And for the record, Evan also owns a Boss 302LS and a Boss 302 clone track car, but from what I've heard through the grapevine, neither one will ever see actual track time.

Neither will his new Porsche according to him. Should be no surprise to anyone, Evan is all about image, 8400 parade miles through town
is quite commendable if that's your gig

I believe Evan enrolls in open track events with groups like HOD, Trackacardia and Track Daze to mention a few. PCA has many track events as well. SAAC has one at Mid-Ohio this year.
It is fun and safe. Not racing (point to pass) but go as fast as you like.

Hahaha, YES! That is exactly why I chose that term.
With my knees walking for a few hours is just fine.
Besides, I'm creating an employment opportunity.

So, how long are we going to maintain this thread for Evan?
He stops by to see we are talking about him, it is an ego boost for him.

I wonder if the powers that be could create a locked down forum and bring him back with restrictions that don't allow him to wander and post on any other forums or threads than that one? Kind of like being under "house arrest". Now that would be an ego booster!

Hmmm, sounds like someone in the news lately.
The mental decline around this place is on the rise.

My Dad was exercise intolerant. Poured butter gravy on his meals. Didn't drink water or much alcohol. And he still lived to 87. I've known people who died young and exercised everyday. Another interesting story I saw about twins. One exercised daily and the other was a fat slob. The fat slob got a heart attack from blocked arteries. The doctor told him to warn his brother, who laughed, but got checked out anyway. He also had artery problems. Most things you will get in your life are in your DNA. Of course living healthy gives you a better chance. Life wasn't meant to be easy, but I'll take it as easy as possible.

The Zen philosopher, Basho, once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.'
Speaking of donuts and holes, this is usually about the time where our resident Leaf owner checks-in with something incoherent and not on-topic. So we got that goin' for us, which is nice.

I agree with you that you are wrong, and out of line with your dumb remark.
