Back on topic. For me this is the only choice for a 427 S/C!

That's a WIP (work in progress) pic. It's been through a few coils since then!

I seems to me that there will always be the segment that simply must have an FE, but it sure sounds like things are trending to the SBF strokers as Brent and Lance have mentioned. Easier on the wallet for sure and now days putting up some good numbers.

Well, maybe we can steer the conversation to "What's your favorite Cobra color?" And I'm sure there will be ONLY ONE (1) VOTE for Desert Storm Camo Hummer Beige.

Didn't 'ol Carroll himself say that "427" was the model name, not the engine type or displacement?
Or are we gonna argue over what he meant?

That's the way I see it too. He put a "benchmark" name on the car, but did lots of other things depending on circumstances at the time.

I think CS rarely get the facts get in the way of a good sales pitch. He should have run for elected office.

"It's all in the Registry."

Well, thank goodness he chose 427 Cobra and not 428 Cobra.

Nice motor but you should state the CID if making your engine recommendation. I trust you got the memo that explains the name of the car plus the 427 fender emblem states what's under the hood

My engine CID is stated right up there on top of this message with my profile description. A 427 FE stroked to 482 CID.

Sorry. I guess I just assumed that anyone on this site would know that it is an FE just by seeing the pics.
