Just kidding of course...

I have strong suspicions that the next Ruh-Ruh-Registry will only have the original 1962-1970 Shelby Mustangs & Cobras, GT40's, etc. The replicas made post-1970 will be dropped, deleted, kaput.
For two main reasons.
1. The SAAC Registrars are simply volunteers and they just don't have the time to deal with added volume of cars produced every single day by Shelby, Kirkham and Superformance. Also, they're getting older as a group and will need to pass along the duties to the younger generation, you know, the ones who have grown up watching and playing video games and have the attention spans of goldfish, seriously.
"The results showed the average human attention span has fallen from 12 seconds in 2000, or around the time the mobile revolution began, to eight seconds. Goldfish, meanwhile, are believed to have an attention span of nine seconds. (Mar 12, 2016.)"
2. They're clones, tributes, replicas, copies, reproductions of the cars made in the 1960's. Let the companies who made them, document them, or their enthusiasts, if they so desire. The links to the companies that made them back in the 1960's are at best distant, and in Kirkham's and SPF's case(s), non-existent. And the parts that have been installed in/on them are modern day interpretations, from close reproductions to technologically-advanced/enhanced versions of the 1960's parts.
So you go Al!

Your suspicions are not supported by the registrars I have spoken with.

I love how you never can support ANY of your statements. As Dimis said on a different thread, when you made another unsupported statement about GT40s, NAME THEM.
Name the Registrars you spoke to and when. I call BS.

Jeff Burgy for one.
So it works both ways. Get a SAAC person to come here and support your claim.

All I have heard is that they were playing with the idea of finally putting the Registry on line somehow for next issue..

First, Jeff Burgy is the FGT Registrar, a lovely car, especially the Heritage Edition like yours, but an FGT may or may not be deleted from the future Registry. That I can't comment about since Ford made them as a current production car. The FGT could be an exception and be tracked by SAAC, although it's not a Shelby American Automobile from 1962-1970. And now they're making new ones again.
Back to the original topic of Cobras and Cobra replicas.
Come on Tony, you losing your memory? Here are just a sampling of statements made by Ned (2000/3000 Registrar) and, at least one, at the bottom, was a response to you.
About someone else taking over the duties of Registrar:

A response to one of Evan's famous posts:

Nowhere did I suggest SAAC doesn't welcome them. Nowhere did I say they are not considered Shelby Cobras. For everyone's benefit, stop being such an arrogant and touchy twit and take the time to understand what is being said rather than continue to endlessly defend the same turf even when it hasn't been attacked.

Ned and SAAC seem to be clear as it relates to Cobras and Cobra replicas.

You said you spoke with more than one Registrar, anyone else you want to name?
Hopefully, you're characterizing that conversation Jeff correctly.

So Al, are you then making a replica of a replica?

Ok, why do you think Evan is gone? because he had enough? No, he was dismissed, Kicked out, banned. Why? Because he was /is made up of the stuff that the moderators do not want on the site. Sorry folks, but that's it in a nutshell. Likable, dedicated, or any other words you have for him may be what he had become as memory fades, but he's banned for his posts, not any other reason. ..... ok evan, the gig is up.

Good Lord, some of you must just live to argue and take pot shots with anyone you don't agree with. Maybe they should call this the Cobra Fight Club.

it's not humor, it's your "low self-esteem."

I never met Evan good thing people like him that think the things they own are better than everyone elses really gets under my skin. I should add used to get under my skin now see through their personality quirk.
When I read ours kit cars were "Chaff" in his opinion that said it all. In the end because of his tenacity thought I would certainly put up with his loves looking in the mirror fault if I ever needed legal representation.
