Hey,
I will be following along too. I just picked up a mystery slabside body and am in the parts gathering phase myself. Nice job on the MGB, much better looking then the late rubber bumper style!

I would also be grateful for those foot box measurements.
I have a lot of good picture but without a scale reference it is hard to figure out the sizes.
Thanks in advance

I will be getting back at the car re-innstalling the engine and transmission in the next couple of weeks and will try to remember to measure the footboys before filling all of that space up again. I will post them when I have them. If you do not see a post in the next couple of weeks, send me a PM to remind me.

Thanks for the info, Jim. My build has slowed due to the fact that, after mocking up the engine and trans, I found the engine placement was about 2" further back that I would like. That impacts several things, so I'm in the process of moving motor mount pillars, moving the trans mount, etc. Progress isn't rapid or exciting right now, but it will be worth the additional work.

No problem. I was wondering how things were going with your build. It is a pain when things do not line up exactly as your thought they would and you then have to go about fabricating something to adjust for that.

Keep up the good work.

Jim
