Are you referring to Jim Backus or Mel Blanc? The former voiced Mr. Magoo, while the latter is famous for the voice of Elmer Fudd.

Magoo and Mr. Howell -- but I remember seeing Mel Blanc on the Tonight Show back in 1974 along with Jack Benny. I'm sure RodKnock has no idea who any of those folks were.

I thought the Tonight Show began with Jimmy Fallon, when he left Saturday Night Live. Were there previous Tonight Show hosts before Fallon?

Not sure why you think an apology was ever necessary. But then again I'm pretty thick skinned. BTW, no parents left - both gone, sadly.

By the way, I see you drive a era. Why would you put a ugly fan motor in the middle of the air stream ? Surely you can not think that looks good.

You mean the dual "pusher fans?" That is why you need to spend a good amount of time researching these cars, and their features, before you part with a single dime.

Hauss,
I used dual pusher fans on my first Cobra and they worked great. I never once had a heating problem and our Summers are normally around 115/118 degrees.

Exactly what you said. Install the proper radiator and puller fans {not blocking cool incoming air } Have a clean looking cobra not some backyard fix for a cooling problem.

The pusher fan look is to appear more 1960’s period correct. That is important to some members but irrelevant to others.

It's also worth noting that, in most cases, the pusher fans are in addition to puller fans. It's the puller fans that do the heavy lifting with the pusher fans there for appearance.

But that's an awful lot of work.
Since you're so good at posting pictures, why don't you post a nice clear picture of an original 427 with dual pusher fans?

This, while not an original car, is one of my particular favorites, and always has been. KMS cars mount them a little differently than ERA does.
