Default Ford Racing 427/535 oil consumption solved

As several pointed out, my intake was not clamping down due to ever so slight interference at the China walls. Instead of machining I installed a set of Cometic 0.120 thick intake gaskets which matched perfectly with my super victor intake ports, (which are a tad smaller than the ports in the head...which if matched would yield a bit more power I suppose, but I’m fine where it’s at) so far oil hasn’t dropped a bit!

Problem now is to retune for less air.

Glad you have solved your oil consumption issue.

Not sure what you mean by retune for less air, unless you mean low speed/idle?

Not the carb and 8 intake leaks...(well the carb and the PCV system), but no more oily air from the intake leaks...

Not sure what you did hope you removed manifold and sealed it properly otherwise you will be back trust me. Try the right stuff from permatex and new intake gaskets.

Same one I'm referring to...

It's not FE proof.

Used Ford Recommended Silicon Sealant (Permatex Ultra Black).
