Thanks guys. Don’t know what is was. Like like a cross between carrot cake
and iron filings. Anyhow resolved to see if it happens again.
Anyhow, primed the
oil pump last night. Man, what a scary task without somebody by your side who knows what’s supposed to happen. An Allen key drive the same as a pencil
and that is supposed, to get me psi forever. Anyhow, result, about 3-4 mins
and two drills in, suddenly
oil started exiting the lifters. What a sweet sight. Refiitted the dizzy to the marks I made
and it dropped in, second attempt no problem. Spun it on the starter,
oil light went out
and we have oil pressure on the gauge. My first time with all of this
and in the U.K., feel remote, save for you guys. Anyhow, what a relief......we are homeward bound now, dusty MSD’s aside.
