The press-on Fan/Pulley assembly C3MF-10344-A hasn't been reproduced as far as I know. You'll have to find one used and they don't come up for sale very often.

Kind of hate to say this but I own the last one from DST, the original supplier. I bought it NOS from Mr. Mason a few years back. He said it was the last one he had.

Mason's Dearborn Steel Tube was making new replacements in the 1980s. DST would take original style and new versions to some of the SAAC conventions in the eastern part of the country. I looked at both and the price was the same if I recall correctly. I bought the original unmolested alternator from CSX2332 instead. In later years the relatively short lived website DST kept offered new fan and sheave assemblies for sale.

Assembly versions with large diameter sheaves that I know of:
1962 prototypes, more than one version
1963 Ford production
1964 production, mostly CSX2201 and later Cobras
post production service assembly with no part number stamped in
1980s re-issues

He doesn't have any now, even re-issues from the 80's are gone. When I last talked to him, he said he might have one that was bent and damaged but he wasn't even sure he still had it. I asked him to let me know if he came across it as I'd like first right of refusal but I haven't heard from him. And that was a few years ago now.

Bob, seems to me, John (CompClassics) had an original fan/pulley for sale a few years ago. I don't know if he sold it or not but you might PM him and ask.

We have looked at doing the pulley in reproduction but honestly the numbers do not work. The cost of tooling vs. the possible selling price and time, the market leaves us with lots of pulleys and no profit. In fact I estimate it would take more than seven years to break even and that is tripling the number sold based upon the inquires we had when we talked about this a couple years back. It has taken two years to sell out the alternator plugs we made although I did have another batch run as we needed a couple.

If you can live with the smaller pulley diameter from the standard Thunderbird/Ford/Lincoln pulley they can be found more commonly and much cheaper!

Did I get it correctly?
C3MF-10344-A Would be the holy grail and C3SF-10300-A is a valid alternative?

Is the pully diameter the only difference between them?

It looks that way in my Ford parts lists by model. There is a significant difference in sheave (a.k.a. pulley) diameter between the two models.

The large (not quite 4 inches) single belt sheave for high performance engine rpm ranges keeps the alternator from failing due to higher than rated revolutions per minute when the engines are run hard.

The typical two belt passenger car sheaves are relatively small in outer diameter so that low engine rpm running is turning the alternator rotor fast enough to be doing something.

The difference in sheaves is the difference in final alternator based on the models you listed.

I have two single sheave press on pulleys with the proper fans. Both are NOS...

1) C3MF-10344-A, nearly 4” dia., hipo

2) C3SF-10344-B, 3” dia., non hipo
