That is a nice looking FFR.

For me, in that price range, there are SPFs, BDRs, and ERAs offering better value and resale-ability.

Maybe the cup holders and seat heaters will sell it?

I tend to agree that it’s a nice build, but with a 302 in it, it’s not worth the asking price. I’d put it in the low forties at best.
Probably sell for high thirties unless naive first time buyer.

I would have to agree. It's a very nice car. And the builder may have a reputation, IDK. Very nice interior. Nice top, too. But, it's a carburated 302/T5, solid axle, with 11,000 miles. Electric power steering is a nice addition. Red with white stripes, etc. Fairly basic for a used Cobra. Based on equipment, no more than $35K'ish. A real quality build that doesn't show well in photographs will add more to that.

The market just isn't that strong for used cars, unless there is something pretty unique about them.

But, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Wow, tough crowd. Nice car Jeff. Hopefully he gets as close to what he’s asking for it. There’s an ass for every seat. And I mean that in a good way. Someone always thinks they know more or have more. Hopefully the new buyer enjoys that car for everything that it is.

I would grab the first offer over 40K and run to the bank.

It's a nice looking build, but the 302 will hurt value (realistically, 325-350hp gross unless it has some crazy high revving setup).
A 351 or 427 would get more excitement with buyers, as would an IRS rear.

Almost a decade ago I sold my FFR mk3 (pro built) for 35 or 36K- that thing had maybe half the mileage and a 351W (dynoed at 342 or thereabouts to the rear wheels).

Times have changed a bit. The value of FF% are mujch better. Seems to be a quality build. The top, have seen an example in person and is the best available anywhere (IMO).
We all want HP Torque so only draw back. How often do we need or even use it unless for bragging rights. Just swinging the cat. Now for the suspension !!!

I haven't watched Cobra Country but from what I've ween on BAT, that have actually sold,
low to mid-$30s is about the norm, especially for a 302.

I have been watching the price's of used Cobras, in the last few years, (20-25%) drop. People have been aging out, not driving them as much, no new buyer's looking for our kind of cars, etc. We have two Superformance Cobra here (NW) both 2004-2006, with 392, TkO-600, one with 940, the other 2700 miles, both in "like new cond" neither can find buyer's at 50K. My $.02 for this FFR is low 30's. Cheers Tom.

Tommyrot, huzzah, I agree with you, but then, I don't have an FFR and wishfully hope it to be worth closer to my "investment".
One thing that became blatantly clear to me is the marketing of the car:
RB did a beautiful job with his video, commentary, prep, and openness, when he sold his last Cobra on BAT, for more than $10K over what he'd initially priced it on other sites.

Spot on Karl, RB played by BaT rules, crossed his T's, dotted his i's and got the added 10k, over reserve. I believe I did one better yesterday, at a car show, (by the way my "little Sleeper" V-8 Rx-7, won it's class 6-in a row) I talked a Ferrari owner (80's Mondial) into selling it and building a FFR Daytona Coupe. There's hope for the young people yet (he was in his early 30's) Tommyrot.

I know the builder of this car and it was a “take-over” project from Mid-West Cobras. This gentleman is a very detailed builder and has gone on to build another two FF’s, both powered by Coyotes (Cobra and Coupe). He is one to not accept mediocre and I have seen his last builds, both Cobras and they are as good as you can get with FF’s. Now I do agree this one is priced too high and the 302 that was actually punched out to a 306 I believe will not command this high a price. I agree that low 40’s may be possible.

I got $45k for my FFR last August and seen a few go higher and a number go lower. Depends on many factors.
