I hope you get your stuff but if it doesn't show up soon you should dispute your credit card charge before the time limit expires.
Tony is being kind. This is not a flu problem this is a mismanagement problem! Mismanagement will eventually impact cash flow. When it does, the reseller will be put on a cash and carry basis.

If you order something in inventory it will ship quickly. When you order something that is not in inventory the reseller can not get it without a cash payment to his supplier. Without cash there is no sale. After enough inventoried parts are sold there might be enough cash to get your parts.

Eventually the continued mismanagement causes the collapse of the business. That is usually followed by a fire sale and/or sale of the business. Either way you will not be getting your money back — it has already been spent for other 'things'.

Continued support of this type of reseller will result in you eventually getting screwed. Getting screwed means paying money, getting nothing and not getting a refund.

Businesses that are run like this are poster children for where not to buy from. Ignore the pretty website, pay attention to what the business is doing. Unless you like loosing money, find a new reseller.

Razerwire suggested Vintage Wheels. and pointed out that they advertise on CC. Support the vendors that support you. Vintage ships quickly and has a good range of offerings. Click on one of their adds on the site here and go to their Cobra Parts hot link on their hime page.

When I ordered (see post #11) I checked that the parts were listed as being in stock. If they weren't in stock, I would have looked elsewhere. Surely that's common sense?

Cheers,
Glen

It’s a small amount, not worth my time to deal with it.

I purchased floor mats for my Superformance Cobra SPO2820 several/many years ago from them but they no longer sell them. Damn, I'd buy them again in a heart beat if I could. I don't want any advertising on them except a simple Shelby Cobra badge symbol.

Glad to hear. I placed an order the day before your original post. My order hasn’t yet been sent. I guess I need to be more patient, given the current circumstances.

It took about three weeks for a steering wheel insert to get here.

Years ago, I offered several parts including floor mat's for my Loan Star Cobra and other items and received them in a few days. That was from the original owner, can't think of his name right now though. Another item was a aluminum turkey pan, but I received a polished one, and there was a note saying he was out of the non-polished. lol... Very cool of him.

I need new floor mat's again, so I don't know if I should place a order or not ?

Tony Branda also has some nice parts, that's where I bought my polished 427 Pent Roof valve covers and the emblems.

Kev, I too need new mats. After looking on Finish Line's site they are no longer available. They have a specific set for another model Cobra, other than ours. Looking at the picture they won't work for us.

If you or anyone finds a "generic" set please let me know.

BTW... the set that they used to carry while looking good initially were of pretty poor quality and didn't last long.

Not good news buddy. I bought two sets, one for driving the second for shows.
I wonder if the FFR or Superformance would fit ?

The FFR Cobra has a dropped floor.

Years ago I had custom floor mats made from my templates. They put the Shelby logo on them. I had them made of Burber (?) carpeting. They've held up since 2005. If you have a worn set that fit, these guys can use them as their template.

I really don't remember. I'm fairly tight with a dollar so it must have been reasonable. Give them a call.

I just called them and they don't do custom mats anymore. They said their 65 mustang Mats may work and gave me the measurements. If they do the fronts are going to be $150 and up, depending on material and the Cobra logo.
