 Thanks Tom, I was thinking the lids on the cans were likely a non-standard size (or thread size) that the pressure bleeder wouldn't screw on to.  I believe most of the pressure bleeders come with two or three caps to accommodate different sizes so, if one of them fit, it should work fine.  My main point was that this seems like a simpler solution than the self-bleeders and I'm considering getting one.
