Yeah, I remember hearing that, "Don't worry, it's dry heat" sh@@t when I had to go to Scottsdale in August 15 years ago. I got off the plane and it was 123 degrees and the first breath dried my lungs right out. Hell, nobody was outside after 9 am until the sun went down. I couldn't stand being inside so I would go for a run at about 6 am and then late in the afternoon go for a walk around town and check things out. I was the only one outside except for a few unfortunate people working construction and landscaping.
