"Any ideas? My next step is to have it towed."

If you do this before you do a simple load check on the battery or some other minor maintenance checks, you probably should not have bought a Cobra.

I think the pecking order is something like: 1) Checking gas. 2) Checking oil. 3) Check battery.

There are a lot of very good suggestions posted here and the OP hasn't responded to any of them. Maybe it was a bad battery and he is embarrassed that he never checked it first, but that brake lights coming on thing would worry me also. I would think he may have some serious wiring issues and try to get that straightened out after checking the battery. If the battery is low or bad some of that wiring could be the cause.

I had issues getting on this site today, I've had problems several times. since the first of the year . Has any one else had there password get rejected an have to change only to have more problems? First time today failed and was told that I had exceeded my limit of unsuccessful attempts at logging in. please wait fifteen minutes to try again? Sort of off subject but you did say he may have trouble getting on the site now.

The best I can figure out the sign on issues are related to this site interacting with your browser and passwords. Many times I couldn't get on via my laptop but could on my phone. I have not had a problem in a while but there was a time when it was hit and miss. Been much better lately....at least for me.

I used to get that You have used your 5 log on attempts quite often but I started just leaving myself logged in and haven't had any issues since then. This happened on three different computers running three different OSs and using four different browsers.

Sometimes I can't get on from my bookmark either and I end up Googling Club Cobra Forum and clicking on Cobra Talk. That always seems to open up and then I go to Forums. Interesting though on my computer it always shows this site as "Not Secure".
