Default Shell valley odd clutch setup?

I have a Shell Valley Cobra that instead of having each pedal press directly on the MC, it has the brake pedal on the inside pushing on the MC near the fender well and the clutch pedal has this odd arm depressing it inboard next to the steering shaft, so the positions are reversed. I’m trying to sort out why this clutch has both super heavy pedal pressure AND long travel to the floor ( no sponginess) and am wondering if this weird setup is part of the problem throwing the pedal ratio off. If anyone knows if this is a standard shell valley setup or a homegrown idea that didn’t work out I would appreciate the insight. The slave end is a HTOB - looks like a Tilton. Inside the car under the dash the pedals just go up into a couple of slots in the body andi haven’t yet found any kind of access panel to even see what’s going on in the pedal box. I may just have to take out this complicated setup and hang a simple pedal box under the floor if no one can get me insight on how this is supposed to work. Any insights appreciated.
On another topic, I know someone will ask me to post a photo of the setup.
I finally figured out how to upload pictures to the gallery and I’ve read all the tips on how to include pictures in a post but darn if I still don’t see anything on this window about how to include a picture in a post.
If anyone knows where the “insert photo” button is I would appreciate that tip as well. How could inserting a photo be this unintuitive in 2020?

Do you see right below this post where it has "Quick Reply" look for the eight icons in the message box, like BOLD, ITALICS, UNDERLINE and the second icon from the right looks like a little square picture with a mountain and sun in it. That's INSERT IMAGE and that's what you use. When you click on that button it lets you put in the link to a picture.

Ah that was very helpful advice since I did not have any of those buttons it clued me in that I must have to somehow enable the missing editing controls, so after hunting through my profile I found a setting for edit mode which I changed from Basic to WYSIWYG and now I see the buttons. So I’ll give posting pictures from the gallery a try. Nowhere in any of the FAQs and tips did I see anything about having to set the edit mode, so THANKS!!!

Well that worked but wow kinda clunky way to add images. Wasn’t sure because preview post doesn’t actually show the images. But hey got it done I think.
Greatly appreciate the help.

Default Photos are of the funky bellcrank clutch setup

Photos above show the arm the comes out of the side of the underdash box and pushes on the clutch master cylinder - effect on pedal ratio unknown.
Other picture is of the clutch master cylinder next to steering shaft - the brake master cylinder is on the far side of the clutch MC lower down bolted to the firewall where you might expect it. Not clear why their positions are reversed other than maybe not enough room for both MCs near the headers. Why they didn’t just go with a pedal box that put the MCs over or under the driver feet I don’t know, but first thing would be to find out if shell valley designed it this way or not.

Reading thru the Shell Valley Forums (this site) I gather the Brakes had top foot box mounted master cyls. The clutch was a cable operated affair.

It appears about 50% opted to install floor mounted pedal boxes.

See post #4 here.
Shell Valley Foot Box

And "Master" search results in the Shell Valley Forums.

That does suck Shell Valley can't supply a build manual. Instills a certain lack confidence in aftermarket support for sure.
