None of the drivers weight goes on the RF......so putting a battery on the passenger side ...ias long as you position the battery in the passenger side of the vehicle it will help balance the vehicle.

And just so you guys know, we are talking about LH drive AND RH drive cars here, since the cars are all over the world.
So the theory is the battery should be placed on the passenger side, since any amount of weight that can be positioned to oppose the drivers weight will help to achieve neutral balance. It is also a safer option, since the battery is less likely to be involved in a vehicle accident if mounted away from the road centre line.

I can tell you exactly where my weight distribution in my ERA goes down to the last pound. When I get behind the wheel, ONE pound goes to the passenger side front wheel, 57 goes to the driver front wheel, 93 goes to the driver's rear wheel, and 47 goes to the passenger's rear tire. And I'm as sure of this as I am the Baltimore Catechism.
