I just looked and at the bottom of the home page it says the most ever on line here at one time was 3,146 on the morning of Dec. 23, 2011. Right now there are only 284 on line here as I type this. There's definitely less traffic on this site than in years past. Maybe sites like Facebook have taken a toll? I wouldn't know since I don't do any social media at all. I sure hope it's not a indicator that our Cobra hobby or our automotive hobby in general is waning.

Some names brought up here bring back some memories. I didn't know any of these guys but I sure remember them being very active on here. "Turk" was on all the time, now he seems to be gone for quite a while. I know that he and some others were in a bit of a clique, they had a name for themselves. I don't recall what the name was but they sort of had their own little group. Computerworks was another; he was very active but is long gone as well. I actually met him once, he had a storefront business at the time on Long Island when I lived there. I happened to be in that town one day and just walked into say hello. He was a very nice cordial guy and we chatted for quite a while. I remember Excalibur, Trularin, Hey Little Cobra, Capt. Eddie, 392 Cobra, WTM442, Rick Parker, Rick Lake and so, so many others. They were good times. Even Brent Mills (does he still own this site?) doesn't post much if at all on here anymore.
Yes, Doug, those were the days... long gone, it seems. Like you, I avoid social media like the plague! Perhaps that has taken a toll. Perhaps the young bucks are not coming up lovin' the cars like we all do...

Joined in mid-2003, so I guess I am an old-timer, as well!
