I use this 52 oz. dead blow hammer. It's about 18 years old and still doesn't need to be recast. If you miss the knock-off and hit the rim, it leaves a smudge.

I tried this on mine did not work had to use the lead hammer trust me they were stuck on there is something magic about lead it works.
