Lake George NY 2023 Summer Fun Run

I just checked some of the lodging options for this years Lake George Summer Run event and learned that many are full or filling up fast. If you anticipate joining us for this event consider making reservations sooner rather than later.

Nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, Lake George, NY is the perfect venue for the 21st Running of the Summer Fun Run.
The 2023 event will be held in Lake George, NY. Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th.

Lake George is an extremely popular vacation destination so lodging accommodations fill up very fast. If you expect to stay overnight, it is highly recommended booking accommodations as soon as possible. There is no designated hotel but here are a few suggestions based on past experience.

There will be an informal get together/dinner in Lake George for anyone wanting to attend on Friday evening. Location and time to be determined.
The Saturday Driving tour is going to be epic; you will NOT want to miss this drive. The tour leaves from the Fort William Henry parking lot at 10:30 sharp. Be there by 10AM for a brief drivers meeting.
After a spirited drive on some of the best Adirondack backroad twisties, we'll stop at an amazing lakeside restaurant for lunch and then drive to a little Northwood’s village to sample some of the quaint shops and ice cream if so inclined. After that the second part of the tour takes us back to Lake George to spend time as you so desire.
Sunday, for those interested, there will be a group drive to Saratoga Springs, NY (about 40 minutes south of Lake George) for a tour of the Saratoga Auto Museum and its amazing Bond in Motion exhibit. https://www.saratogaautomuseum.org/current-exhibitions
This an incredible collection of cars and other memorabilia from the James Bond movies. I have ten guest passes on a first come, first served basis, please let me know if you want a couple.
