Yea the transition circuts were very poor, made drivability difficult, never worked on them but years ago drag raced a Maverick (one of Fords better ideas) with a Boss 302 with one of these on it. At the time it was more of a novelty than a performance enhancer.
They're almost as long as a "smallblock" (289 OR 427)!!!!!
