I could not believe that 'continuation car' brought that much. The buyer must be a real dope. Continuation car my foot! Sure, Shelby had all these parts just sitting around and one day he got the idea "Let's put it all together!" Gimme a break!

This goes beyond real/original. I bet it was a Kirkham body.

Nice GT 40's though,
