By the time you pay that much for the block and have it completed into a working engine, you will have probably spent more than you could have. If you wish, Bill Parham at Southern Automotive can build you an engine from an NOS side-oiler block. His adder for using an NOS block is more reasonable than this guy's current bid. And he offers a warranty!

Sorry for sounding like an infomercial, but I really think Bill offers a better deal in this case.
