"The resale value on an ERA is higher than any other", I have to disagree. Cars that are known are the ones that sell the fastest and with the highest resale. I surfed this sight for a year before buying all I heard was BDR and SPF. ERA would pop up now and then. I actually thought ERA's were on the factory five type build not factory assembled. Obviously I was wrong but perception is reality. I can flip a SPF or a BDR three times faster than an ERA.
ERA owners keep talking about originality, SPF is the only car with Carol Shelby name on it!! Above you mentioned power steering, I am not experts but I do not think the originals had power steering or a jag rearend.
