Not to hijack the thread away from Turks build travails, but just a mention of several other aircraft engined monsters (and no pictures to prove anything). There was a guy back in the 60's who built several cars with Allison v-16's, including an Isetta. It was very common in the 20's to use a/c motors in speed record cars like the Railton (a Brit) etc. Jay Leno has a Hispano-Suiza powered special he runs on the street occasionally. And the classiest one is an un-named fellow on the east coast with a RR Merlin powered Rolls Royce. It was at the Louis Vuiton Concours in downtown Manhatton. Fired up the straight piped beast every so often to please the crowd.

Now all you trivia buffs, come fill in the holes in my stories.
