I have an Aviad, so it is pretty well tucked up inside the side frame rales. I think if you drive a lot, sooner or later you will straddle some sort of road debris, a truck tire, a dead animal, or 2X4, and if you punch a hole in your pan, or develope a crack, and lose your oil and not know it, it will ruin your whole trip. I would find a way to put on a low profile sump, because sooner or later......
