were you able to find out any information about insurance or reg/title in NY?

I called Classic (not sure complete name 800-252-5233). They no longer write Cobra policies as their loss experience was too great. Got a quote from American Collectors Insurance, it is HIGHLY dependent on the year the vehicle is titled.

Shaps is right It really depends on how your car is titled. I had been using state farm and spending about $800 per year

I just switched to american collectors and spend about the same but now have a stated value policy.
Check out the upstate sight ( www.upstatecobras.com) we have a few guys from long island

also check out snakepit automotive They have a long island club also
