Didn't SPFfiredog educate us on the Shelby Aluminum block. I thought it was a sideoiler???  although not a REAL 427SO with block by FOMOCO.
Mr. Kobrakarl: Yes, I recognize values of things (anything) vary with time and economy. No problemo. I'm there. But as recent as 3 months ago CSX's were selling at auction for $160K+. REAL denerio was exchanged for REAL Shelby Cobras. Seems to indicate there are people willing to spend big denerio for these cars if equipped correctly or if of a special limited series.
The degree I bought my car to be envied is 0%. I couldn't care less what you or other think about it or whether you would want one or not. Believe me on this one.
I bought my car because I wanted a Cobra not something that just looked like one. I couldn't care less whether you or anyone else envy my car or not. It doesn't change my enjoyment of the car one iota. Fact.
Unfortunately there is quite a bit of CSX envy here thats not being admitted too.
