Default Steering Column Search

Does anyone know where I can buy an original looking steering column with self canceling turn signals and horn on the wheel?

You can't go wrong with an Ididit steering column. Allthe appropriate bells & whistles, and not wildly expensive. That's what I used along with a LeCarra steering wheel. Turn signals, emergency flashers, dimmer switch, and horn on column. And it's a tilt column as well. On a CR, tilt is necessary. If you don't need the tilt, I have an Ididit spare at a very reasonable cost. Wrinkle black, same as the wheel.

Think Enzo has more original looking ones, could check.

For a CR, DV has a custom made one that drops right in.

Try an old VW steering column before they put the key in the column. You can loosen one screw and put the turn signnal lever on the right side which is proper for a cobra.

I bought an old billet aluminum column and a new signal lever(about $65 from a VW parts dealer). The VW has a 7/8" shaft so I had to get a custom steering nuckle from borgenson. between the steering rack and shaft I have a 3/4" DD shaft.

This is a cleaner look than a GM column but if you want tilt you might go with a Ididit

Try a old VW bodeyard. Finish Line used to sell a steering column already set up with the steering wheel boss.
