Installer allegedly failed to put in the cup washers correctly.
Other issue is that defendant has only offered the value of a street stock vehicle from the blue book for settlement. The vehicles actual value as a race car as it sat was about 4x's the blue book value.
There are consumer fraud counts too since the installer never provided a written work order and estimate prior to the work. Violates N.J. regs. Treble damages and counsel fees are also allowed.

OK--let's pump up the value. We can have a Lincoln full of "experts" there first thing Thursday morning.
Heck, one guy even has an English accent--sort of makes him sound smart...if we can keep his pants on.
Have you out of there by lunch.

I took the liberty of forwarding this info to Roger (Cranky), who I am sure would be willing to be called as an expert witness for Evan, given his experience at the Glen and all.

Does that mean I will be the only "REAL 1" at the Fling?
Oh boy, goodie!!
I am not like the other CSX owners. You guys can come and park near my car, and anytime.
As a matter of fact, the second day of the Fling, I will have an open house and wouldn't mind saying Hello to anyone from the Southern States.. The other days, leave me heck alone!!
TURK
The nice CSX owner.

turk, bring your valium and some of that west coast funny stuff ( alfalfa sprouts and whatever else is out there) so you can stand up to the pressure and scruitiny....
be sure to eloquently proclaim how REAL the car is, how correct the rivets are in number and location and that tin can unpainted metal is more period correct than black paint ! a t-shirt that says EVAN's FRIEND might be in order too...however , make it reversible in case the pressure is too intense, and on the reverse side have it read either : WHO IS EVAN or WHO NEEDS EVAN.
yes, Evan will be missed if in fact he becomes a houdini, but your car Turk will stand taller without comparison to the REAL one ! don't forget to thank evan for that starring opportunity !
now, with evan gone, who can we pick on in ohio ?

Bolo tie. One of them with the scorpion embedded into a chunck of clear plastic. Perfect with a T-shirt!

Evan - I know about them there Porsche things. We get them here as well. I keep seeing them getting smaller in my rear view mirror.
I'm flying in to the 'fling via Newark anyway. You could call me as your expert witness - would pay for my flight and get you to the 'fling, what more could you ask?
Don't they book as a Volkswagen?

Eric,
I don't have the same motor any longer. I have a different one. Re-think your challenge.
Oh, I forgot, I also have a different car. You will find me under a tent with waiters and waitresses serving wine and cheese.
I may have to start my own car, my butler will not be able to join us for this trip. He is refusing to ride in the semi.
What did you do, spent the last year installing hidden Nitrous system in that thing?
Jamo may want to take you up on the offer, his engine is broke in, mine is not.

LOL
TURK,
No challenge, I still have my sheet from last year. I'll just use that if anyone asks...
I would think your new mill should get you over 435 lbs at the rear wheels, so you win!

Evan,
I now fully understand your aberrant behavior. I just spent the last two days taking the LSAT intensive review course and after trying to understand those psychotic analytic questions that were obviously created by a. attorneys from the early 60's that subscribed to Timothy Leary's philosophies or b. attorneys that enjoy severe sado-masochistic tendencies, I understand your standard deviation of "REAL". While I respect your abilities to have survived the LSAT and years of perpetuated psychotic instructions, I also now understand the "REAL" meaning of cerebral cortex meltdown. If you attend the DV Spring Fling, which I sincerely hope that you do, I promise to buy you a round of drinks and then sumarily pitch your posterior into the lake because you are indirectly associated with this pathos.
With all due respect, your friend,
Dano
Dropping an engine out of a Porsche.....now that's an excuse not soon forgotten. Evan, they have a transaxle!
