Yes all those clearance problems, I had an FE 390 in my first car with standard type mounts, worked fine, did have minimal room with the air cleaner though!
I am going to give up looking for urethane mounts, and go with the aussie falcon standard mounts I know they work, and as mentioned I can always fit a bolt through them (cringe) but it would work in limiting movement, and they are only about US$14 each!
