IMHO: who really cares if it's real or not? Think VALUE & FUN!
The only person that should make a difference to, is you. Most of us don't build or buy good replica Cobras to spend our time, money, and energy trying to impress others. I don't. 
Buy it, try it, enjoy it, and just have fun until you sell it. An SPF is a good car, and a different experience in comparison to other exotics...
Look what happened to the Harley industry... now many people (former hard-core Harley riders) are building upgraded custom bikes with custom frames, different motors, front-ends, wheels, etc... They could care less now if it's a Harley or not. When someone asks me, I proudly say, NO - it's an ERA!
